NatterDesk is an AI message assistant for trade businesses. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it to provide the service.
Information we collect
NatterDesk collects account details, business details, enquiry messages, and contact information that customers or business owners provide to operate the service.
This can include names, email addresses, phone numbers, business names, service requirements, appointment or callback preferences, conversation content, and operational notes needed to prepare enquiry summaries.
How we use information
We use information to provide the NatterDesk service, respond to enquiries, prepare lead summaries, maintain accounts, support customers, improve the product, prevent abuse, and meet legal or security requirements.
We do not sell personal information.
Google user data
If you choose Continue with Google to sign up or log in, NatterDesk accesses the Google Account information that Google provides through the OAuth sign-in flow.
Data accessed: email address, email verification status, name, profile image, locale if provided, and a stable Google Account identifier. NatterDesk does not request access to Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, Google Contacts, or any Google files, messages, events, or contacts.
Use: we use this Google user data only to create and secure your NatterDesk account, log you in, maintain your session, show your account identity, provide support, and prevent fraud or abuse.
Storage: Google sign-in data is stored with your NatterDesk account and authentication records. Session information may be stored in secure cookies managed by our authentication provider.
Sharing: we share Google user data only with service providers that are necessary to provide authentication, hosting, security, support, and account operations, or when required by law. We do not sell Google user data, transfer it to advertising platforms or data brokers, use it for credit-worthiness or lending decisions, or use it for personalized, retargeted, or interest-based advertising.
Limited Use: NatterDesk's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Sharing and disclosure
We share information only with service providers needed to run NatterDesk, when required by law, or with the business account that receives an enquiry.
Service providers may include hosting, authentication, database, payment, analytics, communications, customer support, and security vendors. They are allowed to process information only for the services they provide to NatterDesk.
Security
We use HTTPS, authentication controls, access controls, and operational safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure.
Access to production systems is limited to people and service providers who need it to operate, support, or secure the service.
Retention and deletion
We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide NatterDesk, maintain accounts, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect the service.
You can request deletion of your account or personal information using the support contact details provided with your account or onboarding materials. When deletion is requested, we delete or anonymise information unless we need to keep it for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or legitimate business record purposes.
